It's not an attack. In no way is it an attack. It's just trying to find out a sensible reason once all of our suggestions have been taken into account. It may be a case of it already having been chosen, and no amount of reason, logic or cold hard cash will change that - but that's no reason for us to give up. I'm not sure how I would even view this site without PMs.

As for why they feel it was abused, I havent got the foggiest idea. Its not my job to know their details. They could have felt it was being abused for any number of reasons. Most of which none of us are privy to. There isnt a point in guessing. We all just need to accept the fact that this is how they feel and they are going to go through with it weather or not we like it.

Welcome solus, it is good to know that another capable Mod has taken the job, though I do understand Thunders want to move back to his home, I feel the same some.

The very spesific way you have worded several of your posts makes you (sorry I am about to offend you) sound like a 12 year old throwing a fit because they arent getting what they want.

Now it can be concluded that the PM's did alot of good but the repeated posts of "SOLUS this idea is just stupid" really doesnt add alot to your argument. You need to attempt to look at it from a perspective other then your own. It might not be as great a system as you thing. They do have a crap load of work to do on these forums as it is and its only getting worse. To them it obviously is becoming a problem and they are going about solving that problem. How they do that is up to them. We have all had our shot at trying to convince them otherwise and the have read those posts. SOLUS has spoken and made it abundently clear that the change is going to happen anyways. Its completely out of our hands now. So why continue to fight for something that is already gone?

Not only does it make your creditablity go down with the mods but it can seriously tick them off. We all would love to make demands of the Mods but they are not obligated to fill any of them. Their true job is to keep the site updated and on track. They dont need to give explenations to us. What is, is. What is done is done. Continuing an argument like this (certainly the way you have been going about it) doesnt benefit anybody, least of all you.

I for one am personally saddend that they are getting rid of the PM system but its going to happen so I will adapt. Its the way things are now. Either we all adapt or members shall fall. It happens.

Now then I feel I have said enough on this topic. This explenation should be sufficient for you. If it isnt the I am truely sorry I couldnt get my point across to you. Just remember that I didnt do this out of malice or malcontent. I did it to keep you from getting yourself into trouble. I didnt intend for this to be insulting (though it probably is) and I appologise in advance.
