SOLUS, Lethe, you think we misuse PMs? That's just plain retarded. We enjoy the convenience of PMs and for you to take it away is just stupid. We use it to communicate with private info and other things. Very few people misuse the PM system.

My suggestions:

Create a way to block certain users from PMs like Bungie does to people's file shares.

Block PMs from being sent to you.

Create a way were you could view our PMs if your that worried about it. I don't know about any of you but, I guess I could trust a Mod. reading my PMs.

Side Note: For any of you who care Arty's not banned anymore.

I can't say I've ever used my PMs irresponsibly, unless you mean things like 'Where have you been? What are you up to?) sort of things, which often appear on the forums anyway. I do know somebody who has done, but he's one of those who were banned in that incident.

As for LHs suggestions, they all seem perfectly sensible, and very straightforward. I too would be in full support of a mod reading through my Pms if it meant we could keep them.

 I would just like to ask whether the large amount of PMs being sent back and forth between members (mods not included, and ignoring any 'irresponsibility;) is actuall any trouble, or whether it is more or less automatic. 

 To be honest, I haven't seen any probles once LHs suggestions are put into effect.

 While I understand that there are different ways of communicating, I, as well as others, have already stressed that this way cannot directly compare to PMs. Though I suppose there is no other choice than to lie down and accept it, if only because we have no other choice.

Personally for your sake Legendary, I would slowly back away. You dont want to be put on a SOLUS version of a time out. Those arent really good for you.

What is done is done. I am sad that they are getting rid of them and that new ideas at how to work around them have been discarded but its not our choice to make. Its theirs. Either we all live by it or we just leave. One way or another people will choose one of those two options. No sence in arguing about it at this point. They have maded up their minds and thats that.

But seriously direct attacks like that dont really do much of anything but put you on their crap list.

Its not a matter of proof anymore. They felt it was being abused. Now our feelings on it are that we didnt abuse it but its the way they view things that make things happen. They saw it as abused and so they are getting rid of it. End of story. No proof needed.

This is a forum. I am entitled to voice my opinion. I am in way telling them to do anything directly. I am trying to persuade them into not doing this.

Why did they feel it abused then?

You are more then welcome to voice your opinion but you need to do it in a constructive manor. Accusations and throwing tantrums do not fit into that discription. Give respect to the mods and in turn you will be given respect. If you want them to treat you as a valued member of the forums then you need to act like one to them along with acting like that to other forum members. I dont like to see people get banned except when they are really asking for it. The only reason why I commented on you is because you are giving them reason to do such a thing to you.

As for why they feel it was abused, I havent got the foggiest idea. Its not my job to know their details. They could have felt it was being abused for any number of reasons. Most of which none of us are privy to. There isnt a point in guessing. We all just need to accept the fact that this is how they feel and they are going to go through with it weather or not we like it.
