Ok i was thinking about the halo wars trailer, and all the spartans and the location of the level. What if and this is a big what if, those spartans are from mc117's group of spartans before they were all killed off or died from enhanements? What if they were on a mission? The structure the elites came out of looked like a structure found on halo to me, and if i have read right at the site the trailer and game will be based on the early times of the human convenant war? Maybe this is a group of spartans that have been sent to check out the rings and see what they were all about, all the while we found the covenant doing the same.

Couldn't be. Only one SPARTAN knew of Halo. And that was me.

Yes i have played halo 1, i have played halo 1 more times than i can count, and i have read the books more times than once. What i was getting as is that in the books it is stated and in the first game that they ONI know of a destination that knowone else does, or it wouldn't have been in the pillar of autumns destinations solutions computer for cortona to pull out at random. So someone was there at the rings before halo 1, maybe just maybe this game halo wars takes place then to give us more info.
