Just remember, don't have a capital letter after a bit of speech unless it's someone's name or rank. Simple error, I do it all the time. I didn't see any spelling errors, and no other grammar errors.
Why do you always apologise for writing a short chapter? You should know that we don't care about the size of the chapter, we care about what's in the chapter. If it's a good chapter, the size doesn't matter.
