 Also to the guy who said halo 3 will be forgotten by december thats a foolish statement. As Halo  2 was the top xbox live played game from it's release date in november of 2004 untill a week after gears of wars release in november of 2006. For two years Halo 2 was the number 1 xbox game. You honestly expect halo 3 to be wiped clean from peoples memories in december of 2007. Which will only be 5 months after halo 3 is released. Or less then half a year. Hell Halo 2 will likely be number 1 for a while longer in spring of 2007. As new halo 2 maps will be released then as well as the overwelming hype for halo 3.

I also remember putting in quotes "if that's even possible". I never really meant to say it would be forgotten. More like, once the original shock has worn off, Halo Wars will come out.

the shortsword looks more to me like a YB-49.

Yay detail picking.  Although YB49s are kickass.  to bad the B36 beat it out.  then again, the B36 is pretty cool.

1. Broadsword is not an official name of anything.

2. Longsword is the class of ship (as in space)-based fighters. It is not the name of the ships, even though they are now seemingly interchangable - blame Halo 1's ending.

3. The Longswords are therefore NOT in the bomberclassification, hence nullifying your catgorization of Shortsword. 

3. Even if Longsword were a valid name, and also in the bomber category, using "shortsword" as the name/title of another such vessel would be ... unimaginative at best.

I'm so ready for this new Halo to arrive. It looks awesome. As for the names of the ships?? I have several suggestions, first is Sabre, second is Falchion.  JMO.
