    Scarab and hunter

    With all good RTS games you get a high pop of units you can have, the scarab wont take that much up, so i was wondering, can you only ahve 1 scarab on the battlefield at one time, then build annother if its destroyed, or can they be mass produced?

     

    Also, will Hunters have the fuel rod cannon type weapons, or the halo 2/3 Beam.

     

    These are still to be confirmed, but whats ur opinion

    just one scarab to avoid balancing issues

    and the hunter halo 2/3 beam cause it looks cooler when its shot

    Halo:CE hunters are cooler

    but since i think hunters will be good against infantry they'll probably use the beam version 

     

    i think the number of scarabs should be a part of the game-type rules

    Halo CE hunters are cooler imo. But I'm guessing they'll have that stupid beam.
    And I'd stick with like 1 scarab max. Or maybe they can only be accessed through 'powers'.

     Hmm, not sure if we want annother bad-massproduced-EA-halo-ripoff. Powers were realy abd in C&C, and i think Hunters should have the beam they look so much cooler. also the scarabs should require a special wear factory to make them, wich can build all other tank units aswell

        I dunno. I personally don't want a scarab limit, but it may need to be put into effect. It would be a good idea to put it under the game rules, but they may have dulled down how strong they are. Also, we don't know how powerful spartan is, do we?

    What do you guys think?

    Well if you give the noobs enough time, then, yeah, they will. Your a noob yourself if you can allow for some noob to amass a scarab army!

    Good point. There also needs to be a max on spartans, if there are 33 spartans on the field the covenant is basically screwed over.

    and for the hunters, definately the halo: ce version cause it was way more powerful

    yeah, the hunters were better in CE.

    I don't agree with the Scarab idea though. Of course, it depends on how powerful they are, but if they cost enough, and you can defend yourself while building up that amount of resources, then you deserve an army of scarabs!
