well.. in all honesty, considering hollywoods past history of tottally screwing up every game turned movie story..
I'm actually kinda glad to hear that the Halo movie may never make it off the ground.
Halo should stay as game. Plain and simple. they do a Fine job with the in-game cinematics to make it feel enough like a movie for me, and I dont think I want to see what Hollywood would do to one of my all time favorite games.
Last time hollywood turned one of my fav games into a movie, was bloodrayne.  :/

I'm glad it has been POSTPONED(they never said anything about being cancelled) because I would hate to see a cheap ass movie. What you people that hate the idea of a movie all together don't realize is that Microsoft and Jackson will settle for nothing less than amazing for this movie and with no financial support by the two film companies they realize this can't be achieved.

I watch cheap movies on SciFi all the time, and it is a pity to see such good plots go under funded and thus, go unnoticed.

 

(Note: I am in no way implying all cheap SciFis have good plots, but there are some that do)
