Bungie has anounced that there will not be a Halo 4.  Obviously, there isn't, it's just going to be called something else.  There is something about a 'Halo: Chronicals."  And they will probably make more games following the books, such as playing as kurt.

There will obviously be a Halo 4 in the future for a handful of reasons, granted it may not exist RIGHT NOW.

a) Have you seen the bonus cut scene after beating Halo 3 on Legendary?

It is probably suspence for the books, or just to leave their options open.

b) They've heavily hinted towards making another Halo and even another Halo trilogy.

That's what halo wars is for.

c) If you are making a product that is selling this much you probably wouldn't go make some other game.

Still what halo wars is for.

I say that they will proabably make another Halo fps game, but it's not likely to folow MC, though it may hint to his future.  As far as non gps game go... it will proabably turn into a mini starwars, everything.  And their will probably be a sequel to HW.  The might, just might, come out with a new MC Halo, but i dont see it happening.  Guess we'll just have to read the books.

There was a thread that explained the worms on the Scarab. They said that since a Scarab was hijacked in Halo 2, they put in the worms to control the Scarab.

This would make it so no control panel was needed, and making it impossible for humans to control it...
