the closest thing to your idea that could work is the ability to watch saved films (of games) in a first person mode. other than that, it would just be a distraction. either way, in an rts, the outcome is not based on the individual skill of each unit. i don't want to lose a game because my opponent is controlling a sniper and is really good at headshots.
it just wouldn't work out. this is an rts, not an fps. it doesn't need to conform to be more like halo.
