    Cheese:

Personally i think that it shows an interesting link between the american and japanese cultural aspects of gaming, and, some unusual crossovers. While japanese games (from nintendo) are more about treading the zombie grounds of the nineties, remark how the american franchises of fighter games are very limited in this platform. Which is odd, because of their general sucsess (see powerstone dreamcast - which wasn't that sucsessful, but rocked).

    There... can that be why?

I'm gona stick with link. Will many people be changing their main characters?

Kirdy is da best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never will change for me, long live the marshmallow!

Paragon will probably come by sooner or later and lock this thread, becuase It has nothing to do with Halo.

Come on Paragon!!!!!!!! Lock the thread, it does have nothing to do with halo. But still, it's better than the million fps-rts cross-over, space battle, and other repeat threads were having, sorry had to say it, plz don't take my account away.

How Smash is relevant to Halowars...

Happy again? The stage builder for Smash looks a bit more like a mario game level design. We get to play with bricks and place them randomly in the air, adding ladders, spikes and other stuff. In HaloWars (which we must fight to make a part of this thread!) a mapmaker would require a whole different kind of setting, not to mention terrain and recources. It would be a lot harder, not impossible, but it would be alot more advanced than smash.

Kirby seems the popular opinion. I thought more people would be as falco or cpt falcon. Any link people out there? The subspace emissary looks awesome. I'm gona finish that first.

Well my favourites from melee were Mario, Link, Ganandorf and Samus. I was decent with pikachu and Mewtwo.

I find it a nice respite from the constant halo talk.

How on earth can you become good with Mewtoo? Me an my brother had a three stock game with him that lasted 10 minutes because we just couldn't hit eachother! He's so slow... The other guys I like.

Also, I'm going to turn final smash off. It seems to remove a lot of skill from the game.

Brawl isn't out here yet, and as I said I've only played melee.

I was good with mewtwo as I kept moving, charging his energy ball up. I'd then hit them with some basic attacks and a few smashes, and finish them off with the energy ball.

Stock matches were always fun, espically when you were all at 300% damage.

Wherever you are there's a disc that converts the game so you can play the american one. Look on the last page. i live in Britain and Im getting it by friday.

Stock matches are my favorite too.

I know there is a conversion disk, but I thought ninentdo had blocked it with an console update.

Yeah I heard about that. This is why I hate Nintendo so much. How long can it take to change a stupid format? Not very! Especially concidering that a disc can do it in about 3 seconds. The site still doesn't have a release date up though. If the disc works, it shouldn't matter though. exept that the european market will be full of american games and will fail, making nintendo hate us even more...
