i think marines in halo wars are to weak because i think in the normal halo games that 2 squads of marines could take out at least 1 and a half grunt squads but in the demo video the squads are quickly wiped out by the 2 squads why are they so weak

yup. thank god this is just the demo so they can change it under development :D not even a grenade could kill a grunts :/

Because the game's not to the point where they're trying to balance things to a proper game standard..

I think it is suposed to be like the books and the legndary difficlty as in the games as in real life.

al lthat means is that time progresses, as opposed to TBS, so techincally it coudl be horribly unrealistic and stil lbe real time

 

and if u base it off REAL halo (i. legendary) they're only a bit underpowered 

NTM, it coudl have been set up liek that so the marines die, so we can see the warthogs kill them

the marines in the demo seemed perfect, cuz right at first, like the first 5 seconds, they were figting 3 squads at the same time. 1 covie squad fell back, and the other 2 finished off the marines, but one and a part of the other was killed. i think the marines had equal power.

and besides, the marines should be slightly weaker than the covies

I didn't say the maries couldn't fight I'm just saying that the cov had elites who are stronger the marines.  If the elites were not there the marines could have won.

 

I think the marines eveyone is talking about had SMGs, so no wonder they got pwned, SMGs against needlers.
