Flash for all we know he did resign. There is nothing suggesting he was laid off, but SOLUS has stated that he decided to resign. So seeing as there is one official saying he resigned and nobody else saying he was sacked(officially), then I'm going to go with that one official person. SOLUS.

 

So unless you can get some confirmation to Thunder not 'quitting' then you should stop making assumptions.

I'm sure SOLUS would have also denied that ES were shutting down if he was asked about it yesterday.

Don't you think it's a bit of a coincidence that Thunder "Resigns" right around the time M$ announces that they've laid off everyone who's not related to Halo Wars (Also remembering that Graham wasn't just the Halo Wars community manager, he was the Community Manager for the whole of Ensemble - The Age Of...Series too).

Graham was a huge help to me, my site and its members.

I'm calling bullshit on this one, like I said the coincidence is just too big. 

Thunder's last post was at the end of July. This was released yesterday. I'm sure it was probably on the cards then, but I don't think Thunder left for that reason.

If he's been doing the job for so long, it's understandable that he missed his family. It's a perfectly legitamate reason to resign.

It just think it's a coincidence.

Yeah, ES made some good games, too bad they'll have to go.  I don't think this has anything to do with Thunder though.  At least Halo Wars is gonna be finished.

hope so thanks for saying. Ok. I did read a smaller company is being formed by Microsoft from the ppl from halo wars 1. so im guessing halo wars2 (if halo wars 1 is good) is about a 50% chance
