Could there be something so awesome that it would devistate the enemy base before they could react?

Or have it done in 8 min..?

Or even use the Arbiter effectively if they go air to protect your locusts?

Or maybe even through in a few wraiths to complement the locusts at a ratio of about... 1 wraith per 2 locusts??

8 mins is not a rush. Anything before 3:30 is a rush. I can have a Locust building @ 3:09 on a Reactor map, and vs UNSC as Arby, it is a difficult strat to counter

Locusts are too weak to be used alone that late. Rush with them on a reactor map against UNSC. and make ghosts to stop jacking.

Not neccessarily, a rush is defined as a tactic that catches your enemy by surprise before he's ready. Some scarab rushes are completed at 7 mins, but the enemy is definitely not prepared.

I usually define a rush as 3:30 or before.

I dont Consider 5 warthogs at 2:30 a rush, Nor do i Consider a leader at your base before 3:00 a rush, they are harrasment.

you are skill level 22 with low TS and play 3v3 UA alot and think vultures with tanks and ODST is a good strat, your a no ob sorry, not that is a bad thing but you are a no ob. and if anything you need to attack before 8 minutes or else the whole strat is pointless and also dont get wraiths to complement locusts  that's just dumb you need anti-jack or anti tank depending on the time you attack otherwise your throwing your money and chacne of winning away
