Why is it whenever I bring up a point people just revert back to 1v1 challenges?

I'm not talking about my ability to beat you in Halo Wars.  I'm talking about your character, intelligence, wit, and overall contribution to this world and forum.

You may be better than me in a Video Game that I barely even play and I dont even play much anymore--doesn't make you any better or smarter than me.
