    Re: build orders

    Double suicide grunt rush:

    BO: T,WH

I like this strat a lot, scout for resources away from your base and as soon as the arby comes out get the resources next to your base with him and send him straight to the enemy base the quicker the better collecting crates a long the way that don't require you to detour. Also when your temple builds get a suicide grunt, and keep buying them when ever u get 160 resources, if done well and both of you do it, you attack a cov base because its weaker with 6-8 suicide grunts at 1:30-2:00 (teleported in) go straight for the center and boom the cov base is dead, they lose the game, just keep your arby there to stop them rebuilding for 1 min and one of their teammates is lost.

If they try and go for an early sheild, which you will see if you scout, just attack the centre with your ghost microing away from their leader, the sheild does not go up if you attack the middle.

Against a UNSC: do not go for the center first!!!! they should have about 3-4 buildings up by this time, just send 1 sg into each sp and use ur arby to finish it off, when only 1 building is left standing usually a reactor hit the middle, it goes down in about 3-4 grunts at this stage

Build more WH when you can, to try and get ur econ back on track, but it will be 2 arby against 1, u will usually always win, they will not have enought units to counter you in such a short space of time

To prove it works we played it on Laberyrinth against CtL Random and another CtL guy, they were arby and forge, we hit the arby who was CtL Random first, he was building a sg 3rd but we got their first with our ghosts to stop sheild just before our arbys arrived and destroyed him. This was before TU3 we retreated and I built hunters and my mate built banshees, we attacked about 4 mins later with a decent army against forge, and he was trying to gaus spam, but with 2 direct counters they got destroyed and he resigned. (The game was too long ago to give u the match stats link) but you can ask them if you don't believe me.

you need two people to do that attack. 1 person won't have enough suicide grunts. also his timing is a bit off. he can't get that many suicide grunts in less than 2 min.

I get banned for no reason

ill edit it in but is there anyway you can reword it so it requires no assistance from your partner?

It requires two people to do it, one of you wont have enough suicide grunts, but yo can do it in 1v1 but you just have to use it to harrass not destroy. The timing was not exact, more grunts come in along the way, but it still works if you do it right and get enough crates.

We beat two of the best in the game doing it, so it does work ill have to look at the times exactly since it was a while ago

Sure this is a 2v2 strat somenly, for 1v1 you would do it like this:

BO: T, WH, WH, WH, WH

This is basically a harrass tactic that annoys a lot of people and causes them to resign.

Gather supplys with your ghost and when arby comes out go round getting supplys, build ur first suicide grunt after your first WH has been built, continue getting supplys with ur arby and ghost, build ur next suicide grunt after your second WH comes up, then upgrade ur first WH and only this one, then send ur arby to their base whilst giving him the upgrades a long the way, fiendish return is best since of the HP boost and the damage boost in finishing off the buildings (by now you should be able to continuesly build suicode grunts) teleport the two you have built into their base and send one into each SP/WH it takes it down to red health and use ur arby to finish the building off, not another suicide grunt since they will all "blow up" just to take off a smidge off health and you would have wasted them and not used them efficiently. all the time having suicde grunts coming in and upgrading ur WH when ur resources allow. Doing this really cripples them and allows you to build up another army at ur base with counters to the flamers/jackals that he will be building. He will eventually counter you with jackals/flamers, but by then you should have a decent force of either wraiths or banshees to finish them off.

Just remember to keep hitting their supply pads, they will have no income and they will be on the backfoot th entire time

Re: build orders and strategies Megathread

A Grunt/Brute rush works wonders. This is the regular build I will use. All of this can be done in under four and a half minutes. Although you will have to wait a bit to get inheritance, that is if you chose to get it.

Warehouse>Warehouse>Warehouse>Temple>Four Brutes>Hall>Peons>A lot of grunts. Send BC over to an enemy and just drop everything there. By the time you have Four brutes you should have 7 or so Grunts, but just keep making them and use their Plasma grenades when available. Also, try to get the stun on your hammer incase the enemy's team comes over with Scorpians, a stunned Scorpians makes a happy BC. :)

Thanks, and your welcome. :D I don't know if this is the perfect build, but it works whenever me and my friends use it on team games.

Someone pointed it out and I accidently said four warehouses, you build three. I am changing that in my other post now.

    Re: build orders

Not sure where to put this...But this looks like a good spot.

If anyone wants to play ever add DrunkenUGLY. I usually don't play 1's(Not sure why, always thought they were boring), though. I usually play 2v2 with my brother and when he isn't around I go into 3v3 alone. I play as Forge most of the time but I use every human leader. I don't play with the aliens very often. I just don't like playing with them. It isn't that they are weaker as the game goes on, I just dislike controlling one unit and letting the other guys do what ever they want to do.  I am decent at this game, I guess. Haha.

Anyways...I came in here to put my forge build but it was already mentioned..

supply>supply>reactor>reactor>vehicle depot or airpad...whatever floats your boat. This is the quickest way to play as him that I've found. If it isn't, let me know...haha

    Re: build orders

    Brute/Banshee (midgame push)

    WH - T {inheritance} - WH - WH - Summit - {Citadel} - WH - WH/Shield.... bless warehouses when possible

Brutes + banshees are a great combination because they soft counter pretty much anything and do amazing building damage.  Unless you are going for an all-in early grunt rush as described earlier in this thread, you will need a summit for engineers to heal your brute chief and keep him alive. Focus on getting the chief to 1 or 2 stars by clearing hooks or bases and getting to tech 2 with birthright to pull in tanks.  The key is getting chief experience so he gets veterency bonus.  A 3 star chieftain will 2 hit sprizzlies and has TONS of health (but you should always use him with an army).

Use banshees to scout constantly until they try to expand and then attack the main base or expansion while they are vulnerable due to investing in an expansion base.  Once their expansion + army is defeated, you can expand safely to gain map control.
