Fevnalny:Any clue as to how many Halo rings there are?
Seven. I believe this is stated in Halo 2, probably in Halo CE, and the Flood. However, I am too lazy to cross reference.
Fevnalny:Did any of the Spartans on Reach survive?
Read First Strike to find out
Fevnalny:Shouldnt Linda have been in Halo CE?
technically, she is dead at this point, but they put her in a cryo tube so that she could get revived by surgeons later. Read First Striketo learn her fate
Fevnalny:When does Ghosts of Onyx take place before during or after Halo/Halo 2?
Ghosts of Onyx takes place during Halo 2, however, Halo 2 is not mentioned in the book, which was a slight dissapointment for me.
Fevnalny:Any speculation on how Johnson got off Halo?
Read First Strike for his story, also read (or rather see) "Breaking Quarantine" of the Halo Graphic Novel for more precise detail
Fevnalny:What is this thing about Johnson's immunity to the flood?
Read First Strike for the info on Boren's Syndrome
Fevnalny:Whats the Ark?
At the end of Halo 2, Miranda Keyes pulls the index from the core which sets the Halos in standby mode. Guilty Spark then tells them the Halos can only be fired a place called the Ark, which is post probably the structure in the Halo 3 trailer.
Fevnalny:What is the ilovebees thing and could I get a link?
http://www.ilovebees.com/humptydumpty.html ilovebees is aa story that takes place on Earth just prior to Halo 2 and explains in depth the Spartan-Is
Fevnalny:How are the Spartan I's and III's different from the II's?
The Spartan-Is were highly skilled soldiers who were transfered to a new division. There, they received special training and basic augmentation. The Spartan-Is were disbanned just prior to the Covenant war, and never wore armor.
The Spartan-IIIs, read Ghosts of Onyx to find out.
Fevnalny:When were Spartan I's and III's used?
Spartan-Is date back to...2490's and up until 2510's
As for the Spartan-IIIs, the project began around 2531
Fevnalny:Where are the Spartan I' and III's now?
It is actually speculated Johnson might be a Spartan-I, but as for the others, most had mental issues (they went partially insane and thought of nothing but how to kill people) as a side affect of the augmentation. They mainly live on Earth.
As for the Spartan-IIIs, read Ghosts of Onyx to find out.
Fevnalny:Is the book Fall of Reach Cannon?
Yes, Fall of Reach is indeed canon.
Fevnalny:Cannon means they arent going to use right?
Canon refers to something being concrete fact in a fictional universe (like Halo). For example, Halo CE is canon, so are all four of the novels. The Halo Graphic Novel is said to be mostly canon, and I don't quite know how to interpret that statement. However, since the Halo Graphic Novel contains five stories, my guess is that one is not canon and the others are.
Dmand:to add to rotaretilbos account on the elite human alliance the "civil war" began when the MC killed the <profet of Regret> sry i know i should know but it may be another one. anyways the profets did not feel like the elites were going to protect them well enough so replaced all of their top guards with the brutes. this infuriated the brutes into fight ing the brutes and rejecting the profets. the grunts, jackals, and hunters will follow either side it is really between the elites brutes and profets. hopefully i am right.
As for this, you are partially correct. However, when the Prophets removed the Elites from the position of Honor Guard, there was talk about resigning from the Covenant but no action. The Prophets actually gave the order to exterminate the Elites as far as I can recall.
I like pi.
