Why don't you guys direct him to the current "pc" thread, like we agreed?

And OMGHalo3, there have been several RTSs for the Console, some of them successful. Please gather more information before bringing this topic up.

    Re: halo wars on PC

i dont see why halo wars can't come out on the pc. i know a lot of people dont have a 360 and would pay to buy it for the pc. also, the Live for the pc came out. it is like xbox live, except for the pc. it is $50. also, if someone already has a gamertag, they could use it on the pc. if someone has gold membership on the 360,. they dont need to pay if they awnt to use it for the pc. people who have Live can play some pc games online with xbox players. for ex: people using halo 2 vista can play online with halo 2 players on the 360. if halo wars comes out for the pc, many people will get Live ($50) and microsoft can make some money. Also, the company shouldn't worry about the controls, because players change them anyways to fit their needs. i just wish we could hold a petetion or send emails to ensemble studios and request a pc port. for more info on Live, check out this website: http://www.gamesforwindows.com/en-US/Live/Pages/AboutLive.aspx  -happy to help xD                              if anyone wants to hold a petetion, i think we should do so. my email is unchartedproductions@gmail.com

    Re: halo wars on PC

It might not do any good. ES and Microsoft has said they aren't making a PC version of the game, and don't have any plans to make one in the future.
Never draw fire; it irritates everyone around you.

For every action, there is an equal and opposite criticism.

    Re: halo wars on PC

I think it was a really foolish idea to make this an exclusively 360 game.  RTS games have never worked well on the console, and the recent Red Alert 3 was no exception to that.

Thus, there is no way I will purchase this game for the 360! And i know i'm not alone in that opinion.  I love halo, i played halo 1 until and a bit past halo 2z release, i purchased XBL when i got Halo 2 because i wanted to experience the full multiplayer, i continued playing Halo 2 until Halo 3z release- at which point i purchased a 360 purely to play Halo 3, and began transfering my account.  I got collectors on both Halo 2 and Halo 3.  When i heard they were making an RTS, as Halo was originally planned to be, i was PSYCHED! Extremely excited!

Now that i've seen it's never coming to the PC however, I'm horribly disappointed and let down.  I understand it is a lot of work to release games to multiple systems, and i understand why since halo started on the 360, it pretty much had to be released to the 360... But I for one, will not purcahse this game for the 360, no matter how amazing the reviews are, because I've never seen a successful RTS and won't waste my money on another attempt, just because it's themed after the best series of shooters I've played.

Without the keyboard/mouse combination, it's slower and more clumsy when selecting units and specifying orders.
