I think OB's is very good, its the heat and action that keeps you reading.

But with mine, i think i like to create a discriptive story and character development as there is not much action in mine.

Well those are two different aspects of reading, you can create an in-depth character or you can have that character slash his way through thousands of foes.

You don't need action to keep things interesting.

People seem to think that my story is going to focus entirely on action. It plays a big part, but there is a lot of character development already established in these few chapters.

Why would you want to...?

i personally look at romance as a character building-block. if you over do it, you're left with a real sappy, R-rated crap piece. If you touch on it long enough to make the point, it can be a very good way to connect two characters, both emotionally and yes... physically. but get your mind out of the gutter!!
