godgib:None of the DLC was on the disc when it shipped. The game modes are a small download because they are rules. There is some new content, but it's obviously a different type of content compared to a map. Also, the recent patch added a bunch of missing support/engine groundwork for both DLCs.
We are limited in the number of matchmaking buckets we can use due to Live. We left a bunch of buckets available for the DLC, but perhaps we made too many team oriented buckets. We'll evaluate changing/modifying that as we get feedback. FWIW, since the DLC modes are generally more team-based than the default game, we skewed the new hoppers to be team-focused as well.

I am very suprised Microsoft allowed this as i am sure Bungie would not have been allowed to do anything near this with any of the other Halo games.
Halo 2 Vista may have been poorly optimised but atleast it had a editing kit abiet locked down.
You ship a game with only 4 play lists then expect the Stakeholders to pay for the rest of the playlists?
Least you lot could have done is sold the content for 400MSP if not less.
This would have been like Bungie or Hiredgun selling Halo 2/ Halo2 Vista with just slayer, juggernaught and possibly team slayer then try and sell all the other play lists.
I understand you have a limited amount of server space, But surely you would have enough space for atleast 6 more playlists than the shipped 4.
Xbox live may say no refunds but i do believe that goes against my statory rights.
