You guys do know that the movie has been canceled and it wasnt because Peter Jackson wasnt taht good its because Fox and Universal Studios pulled out because they wanted more money or because the price of  the movie was higher than they thought. There is NOT going to be a Halo movie for a while people. 

No it is not cancelled it was put on hold until Jackson can get the required funds. At this point i believe they are saying that it is on an "indefinite hold". Much different then being cancelled.

What about Hugo Weaving. He's bad-a$$ enough. He's tall-ish (Seriously, actors don't have to be tall these days to look tall on the screen, think Tom Cruise and Aaaa-nold). Hugo obviously knows Kung-Fu and he's already got a movie under his belt where he wore a mask the whole time! Perfect.

Hey buddy, it can still have plenty of violence and be pg 13 that way kids who make up 50% of gamers can see the movie.  I have three kids who deserve the right to see it.

not to put a rain on ur parade but i have read in me newest issue of gamepro that the halo movie is posponed until futher notice due to funding complication its not like microsoft can't fund it for crying out loud, they would make so much money!!

I know what u r saying ksbh, but since it is based on a mature game it would be unlikely for it to be rated anything else. If only for the fact that it was based on a mature game. Just wondering but i thought anyone could watch a R rated movie if they have parental consent? At least that is how it should be if it isn't.

Just make him CG'd like in the tv commercial.  So much better.  I don't want to be disappointed with crappy looking stunts and some awkward looking fool in a suit (that would probably look super fake), kthx.

i had heard the budget would soar passed $200m, now since the movie is on hold that may change, but even so $200m budget for CG?  me thinks not...
