    I think there will be one scarab *due to some pictures* hunters will have halo ce beam since this is BEFORE the first halo, so thats my thoughts

    Wasn't there an OXM picture with two scarabs shown?

    Either way I say two scarabs max.

    I think the amount of scarabs allowed should tie in with the size of the map and what game type your playing but only like 1, 2 or possibly 3 scarabs tops

    With all good RTS games you get a high pop of units you can have, the scarab wont take that much up, so i was wondering, can you only ahve 1 scarab on the battlefield at one time, then build annother if its destroyed, or can they be mass produced?

     

    Also, will Hunters have the fuel rod cannon type weapons, or the halo 2/3 Beam.

     

    These are still to be confirmed, but whats ur opinion

    One scarab for balance and i think that the hunters should have the fuel rod cannan to start with but can be upgraded to the beam

    I say a max of two scarabs.

    I agree with you that the hunters should start out with the Halo CE cannon and when upgraded, get equipped with the beam cannon.

    what im wonering about the hunters is will they charge at you and hit you with thier shield cause that was the only way i could kill them, i would aim for the orange when they missed me and i shoot their backs.

    I don't like the Halo CE hunter, it was too useless.  It couldn't hit ANYTHING except a tank.  The only thing it could do was charge blindly at you.  I hope that you can upgrade them to beam version which were VERY useful!

    I doubt you could get an army of Scarabs before your opponent attacks if they need a mass amount of resources. If there was a max limit of three Scarabs or lower and could be built with a little amount of resources I would prefer them to have weaker armour.

    Agreed...except for the weaker armour bit.

    Two scarabs max. Yes, scarabs would be balanced because scarabs as you said, "need a mass amount of resources".

    Maybe the Scarabs should have there own building for them to be built by, and requirements needed to produce that building.

    They'd in all truth need to have their own building to be produced wouldn't they.... this is a conundrum, dilemma, puzzle and enigma.

    What would this building be is unknown to us people not of the Ensemble team.

    ^ This "building" would have to be very big (thus meaning you need a large amount of land or possibly an expansion base for build room) and most possibly have all tech requirement, with a VERY high price to build the scarab(s) AND the structure itself.
    As for the building, I doubt it would be an actual production structure but maybe something along the lines of a...CCS Command Uplink, which may call down a scarab from an orbiting ship or something.
