We've located the probable area for Kane's base in the Mariana Trench. Knowing Kane he'll probably have a decent amount of defenses set up that could take out our best. I suggest sending in only one Spartan IV to minimzie any losses. 492 would be a likely choice in this matter due to his experience with Kane and Tanner. More than one Spartan and we risk getting this out in the open. 492 doesn't even know the really meaning of Omega 12 and what it can do.

yes, i realize this is a fac-fic and that everything is possible... but could you clear that up for me?

Yes the glassing was supposed to have killed all the Flood. If you read the first book, you'll understand how they survived. Look for Halo: The Reclmation of Earth in the Halo Verse section and give it a read. Rise of the Flood will make more sense. As for the elites, they wanted nothing to do with the Humans after the war. We had no communication with them nor the location of Sangehilos.
