    he's one o' da Smart AI's, duh.

anyway, can someone clarify exactly where the MAC gun is.

'cause the three coils of the MAC normally spans the nitire ship, not just 1/7th

I like to think Dumb A.I with the occasional brains. we can extrapolate where the MAC muzzle might be. There are/is more than just 3 coils for the MAC. I think you are referring to the animation on Halopedia. Which is just a small diagram of a coilgun and not a MAC.

Re: Introducing the UNSC Spirit of Fire

We can assume that there is probably only room for 1 MAC on a standard UNSC ship.

From the picture, the MAC is probably the long-ish extrusion on the bow of the ship.

thisis true, yet the Spirit of Fire is, i believe, around 7 times the size of a UNSC frigate, because it is a Phoenx-Class Colony Ship(refitted).

so saying, this is not the standard UNSC ship. te MAC could be the three holes ontop.

if you are right, though, the MAC gun could be a Super MAC.

also, being an old colony ship this thing could hold around 8,000+ marines, +an armored Battalion.

and, lastly with 7+ hangars, this ship could hold 40 Pelicans(?) and the assortment ofLongsword figters onny ship.

and also the things on tthe side might be albatrosses(they certainly are not acher missile pods) or giant drop pods for a squad of ODT's(his is highly unlikely).

does anyon have any ides for the round  doors other than Shiva nukes?

It's a Phoenix-Class colony ship refitted for military use.

most likely the Archer missile pods

Doubt they'd have those style doors, they're also way too large, if a escape pod port that's roughly 2x2 replaced by archer racks is "an over sized pod" then a pod that's bigger an an entire hangar is huge

Those things "hanging" at the edge of the sloping sides ("wings") look alot like Quick deployable buildings, or large transports

wing? what wing? ships like the spirit of fire are built and operated in the vacuum of space. no need for wings...
