Entire army vs. entire army, UNSC would win.

I would say other way around for 1 vs 1... I'm sure the UNSC marine's armour can stop US bullets... Also even assault rifle's bit of spread, it can be an advantage if the target is moving and a few lucky bullet hits them.

Shoot a marine with you Assualt Rifle. It is the exact same caliber as modern guns. Doesn't stop them, does it?
