Part of the seniors wanting to be mods was because the moderators were slow back then.

There was one (actually many) times that random people would just go crazy and spam the forum with threads, and I remember reporting the culprit. The job was done, but it took hours for a response to the incident. 

That probably didn't make sense, but it sounded a whole lot better in my head. 

Well, the main point is that the response time of the moderators were sluggish in early '09 than it is now. And because of the slowness, people wanted you to form Jr.Mod groups to eradicate the infidels. They meant no harm, but at the same time, were very angry for some reason I don't know.

They were angry due to the unbelievable retardness of the new people.

I wish images hadn't been turned off. It would have been better if people hadn't abused of them. They are usefull to reconize who posted while quickly viewing a thread, good for expressing ourselves and even good for making people visualize things. Let's say, posting a picture of a vulture while shooting the missiles to make people visualize them being in space. Oh well... atleast I'm the only one who has a binairy signature and that makes me feel special.
