Jsten419 II: Felix: Jsten419 II: Felix:Yes, it was a big step backwards. Halo Wars 2(if such a thing were to be made, god help us...) would need to be made on the pc.
That was a ludicrously stupid thing to say. Halo Wars is on the 360 for a reason, it isn't a complicated RTS and it doesn't try to be, so why compare? What is the point of posting here every day when you appear to be so vehemently anti-Halo Wars? Is it all a rouse? Halo Wars is one of the most important games of this generation. Why? Because when more developers attempt to make RTSs on consoles, they will look to the first game to ever have nearly flawless controls and awesome game play on a controller. I've been watching this forum since early last year and can't seem to figure out your particular beef.
I don't think you can handle the truth. So, I'll simplify it for you, since you like simple things.
RTSs aren't meant to be "simply", atleast not to this extend. Calling Halo Wars important? Might as well call the conduct important because it's an FPS on the wii...
RTSs don't work on counsols(not well I should say) and halo wars proves that.
It is not my goal to get you to like Halo Wars, or even make you care that it exists, but if you are going to be a complete dolt and ignore every point I make by suggesting every RTS needs twelve kinds of resources, six factions and seventy-three units per faction than my goal is finding out why you have ten thousand posts on the game's forum.
On a side note, I do enjoy simple things. I play every Command and Conquer and love Halo, I also play the Fallout, EVE Online and Rise of Nations games a wee bit more complex than Halo Wars. In short, you don't just need to play the complex ones, open your *** head.
the reason I have ten thousand posts may be hard for to believe, but around seven to eight thousand of those posts are actually trying to defend the game before it came out. I know it's hard to believe this place existed before the game came out, but trust me, it did...
I like simply things too. What I don't like is that Halo Wars is too simply and too basic. I find it like a game of tic-tac-toe. Sure it's got some strategies and is fun for a few minutes, but would you like to play that everyday?
MY POST COUNT IS OVER 9,000!!!
Bow before me mortals!
banned, for no good reason. I will be back though, and I intend to kick some serious ass...
