Shadow Titan:I love the idea of a halo rts, just Halo Wars didn't do it for me. Had great concepts none the less

    Circle menu was genius.

It was a break through for console RTS'.

C&C 3: Kane's Wrath already had a circle menu. Just like this.

But Halo is a better series than C&C.

But C&C still was very appealing concepts to me. More so because it was free base build and individual units. I look forward to the sequel

Space battles sound like a horrible idea.  How would you integrate space battles into an RTS?  Dumb idea, but I like everything else, although there were wayyyyy too may leaders to choose from.  Maybe add 2 or 3 more to each side.

so your saying there were to many leaders to choose from but they should add 6 more?

He means you suggested too many leaders and to just add 2 or 3 to each side of the current leaders.

    Re: Halo Wars 2?

i dont think that there will be a market for halo wars 2 ... to be honest - especially if microsoft is aiming to improve sales. imbalances & bugs are bound to happen but the DLC for this game has sucked compared to what bungie has had to offer. its very likely microsoft's fault for killing ensemble but to say that a development team of around 45 can make a full sequel that will make incremental improvements like the halo fps sequels is a longshot.

Half life was made by a bunch of operating system makers who had no experiance in making games, then hired a few modders and they made half life which was a huge hit even for now. and a few guys at bungie made marathon, not that hard im guessing especialy over a few years, challenging yes but if you know what your doing its not hard

cool i was hoping that someone would respond to my point. i guess that Robot - likely development team - already have the gameplay mechanics figured out for a sequel. but if a sequel is on the cards then im not overly hopeful for anything more than an 'expanded DLC' for halo wars 2. i said in another thread that the halo wars community would be given a new burst of life with a good value DLC for this game. its probably worth concentrating on that for the moment

the problem is not the DLC its the players if they dont download it, it wont be used so that makes the rest of us think we have wasted money on something we cant use. like we do now some are deleting the new maps and nobody players the new playlists,

So even if they do bring out another one unless its new units buildings or summink people aint gonna download the DLC and the ones that do cant use them anyway.

thats my point: make good DLC that people will like and download. and hopefully old players will come back and current players will stay
