Halo Wars Update 07.06.07

We’ve been working towards a mini-milestone of sorts, called the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3).  The good news for Halo Wars fans who have been hanging in there waiting for more information and or images from the game is that we will be showing a small demo of the game for select members of the press at E3.  

 

  will these select press members include dan shoe AKA SHOE SHOE of EGM magazine. afterall, he is the halo master!

 hey now, that's a bit rude don't you think?

well when Bungie showed that Demo they thought they were in the Beta stage of Halo 2 (and then they started over).  And thunder said they are far from the Beta stage (so we are only going to learn fundamentals of the game (not see things like AMAZZZZZZZZZZAAAAAAZing graphics just yet)

Hey thunder, will there be any content availible in the Xbox live market place???

I hope Halo Wars is similar to Age of Empires as the AOE3 theme with the clans and level statistics was by far, the chemistry that brought AOE3 to its' success. If the well respected Ensemble Studios thought about what they did in AOE3, mix it with a Halo theme with some differences (not too many but make sure it is instantly recognisable by AOE fans), Halo Wars would be an instant hit. Good Luck ES and i am personnaly anticipating this ear-shattering, heart racing game Halo Wars.

I'm pretty sure ES is tailoring this game from scratch, as if they are trying something a bit different than what they're used to.  Somehow i get that feeling.

But E3 is only less than a week away!!  Yeah!!  I'm pretty sure they won't show a crappy, pixely version of the game.  They've been testing gameplay for quite some time, so i'm sure the graphics would be half-way decent.  That, or polished up ingame? footage.

I'm not the one selecting the select members of the press, so I don't know who will be selected to see what we've got to show. (Did I say select enough there?)
