Now I'm kind of dissappointed I never got into SC. It seams like it could have been my type of game, but whatever. There's always the second one.

I've only played it a couple times, but the whole rush thing against a "normal" (that was my problem, only one difficulty) made me feel so miniscule and so bad at the game, I didn't feel like picking up a copy.

use bittorrent, download a copy, try it out and if you like it buy SC2 when it comes out. i really enjoy SC, its very difficult to get bored

@gnostistic RonTom is a very respected member, and has been here a lot longer than you have.

Guess what, rushing isn't everything.  On 3v3, it's also about teamwork.  Even on my own, i still hermit up a bit while slowly building up a stronger force.  I'm more mid/endgame than rushing.  I was never able to do that.

StarCraft gives everyone an equal chance.  It's just how you're able to counter your opponent and stratigically gaining the upperhand.

as terran i cant really rush.. so i crush the zergling rush... build up defence... build all the battlecruisers i can... and then win the agme... rushing IS NOT EVERYTHIGN!

i used to play as protoss for the two or three game i played (i was 7-8 back then lol) and i always used to wait and tech up then attack... i could never find a way to rush with protoss

protoss is the only race i rush with..

 

ive got a 15 man zealot rush down in 4 minutes.... thats faster then a lot of people zerg rush.... me and my friend played like 70 games trying to perfect it... lol

4 gateways is what i use ... if the rush dont work tho... your screwed.. cause you cant take the time and recources to build any defence....

it usually dosn't fail tho... and unlike most rushers i dont keep trying... after i send my one rush i stop and start to build a defence.... lots of dragoons!
