    good patch.  In that it tried to fix a few things that needed to be fixed.  A couple things though; If you would have made arbiter easier to target or a little less buff.... (not really cool that it takes 20 units to take him out) and if you would have made gauss hogs tech 4.  I would be much happier.  Ander's is still way to powerful,  half the time she doesn't even use cryo or hawks.  why when you can spam hogs and gremlins.  And do you guys consider how much different 1v 1 is compared to 3v3?  in 1v1 the prophet definatly did not need the nerf, well microed hogs can easily scare off the prophet. 

     

    Just out of curiousity does anyone at robot play halo wars competitvly or just patch testing?

    ugh first off im happy we got more info. everything on it we needed BUT  its not enough. heres the list of the rest they needed

    1. the hogs of course something need to be done

    2. cutter needs some kind of buff (just a little)

    3.same with the BC(just a little)

    4. let two people play together in 3v3( so it just finds a thrid for you)

    5.penalize quittin in some way 

    6. spread the points of someone quitin to the other team because they would of lost their base thats why they are quitin

    7.do somethin about team killin

    robot u need to really consider these cause this is what is losing a bunch a people off this game which is sad cause u did make a GREAT GAME. but it needs more

    k now these are things that are harder for them to do but would probably make this game last way longer (and these are pretty obvisious i know)

    1. MORE DIVERSITY!!!

    2. new leaders not a new faction

    3.more units

    4. more upgrades

    robot just pick one of these plez

    all of these are great, i agree we dont need a new faction, just one new leader for Covy and UNSC. For longevity we really need new units. Cutter needs a minor buff, maybe make his elephants stronger and make infantry capable of being upgraded at the elephant instead of having to build a barracks, which is what the elephant is for. BC just needs a chopper buff and he will be perfect. Hogs in general need a nerf, just a minor one.

    Aloysius:A few notes:

    Title Updates and Patches have a long lead time due to certification processes and bug fixing. You guys, the community, progressed faster along the way the designers anticipated for MP. So yes, we're totally 100% aware of the Hog Rush and what fixes might go in for it, but it couldn't make it in for this TU.

    If you noticed, Hog Rushes really started kicking in once we announced Covenant Leader nerfs, so players were working against our changes before we even put them in!

    The first DLC pack coming up soon is pretty cool, and I think that a lot of people will really dig the new game types.

    So what's the odds we get hog rushed in theses new gametypes then. I know one of them you obviously can't because of a supplied army but the others!

    Make the hogs pop two or three!

    Check the homepage, and read about the patch. Good news is its tommorow, bad news is, it sucks.

    They havnt posted any new information because there isnt any!

    All the patch notes say is what already been realeased. I hope they are holding alot of information back! If they are only changing this then we already need a new patch the day after tommorow!

    I dare robot to go against a good anders guass spammer and tell me its not OP.

    Etheir give us a formal written statement about how anders hog spamm isnt op, followed by a guide of how to beat it, or give us a real patch!

    Please tell me there is more being patchd. Dont hold information back, considering it comes out tommrow!

    Thoughts?

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't YOU the one who always said that Anders and her Gauss Hogs were NOT OP?

    In any case, I'm sure this is all that's new, and there will be no new multiplayer maps or any other balancing tweaks.

    Not that I enjoy being a pessimist or whatnot, but if this is the extent of the patch, and if we only get a patch like this every 2-3 months, this game will be utterly dead before the 3rd patch.

    I agree, this patch helps, but if this is the only changes taking place this game is going to have an even shorter life than I expected.

    If her economy bonus isn't OP, then why should her Gauss spam be OP?  Why should her Gauss spam be any better than any other UNSC Gauss Spam?

    If it was just the Gauss Hogs and not Anders, why mention her at all?

    Read closely, i said guass hog spamm in general, not just anders. I dont think her eco bouns is to OP, just allows here guass quicker, but any UNSC can do it pretty quickly, and it is OP.

    JimmyP:I really didn't think the Vampire buff was necessary.  They rock in groups.  And the auto stasis targeting is priceless.

    r you serious? they suck at what they do, they cost alot, and their upgrades only upgrade the stasis which also sucks....the stasis takes forever to kill an enemy

    you practically need to match the number of hawks with vampires to kill them...

    and now with every upgrade you buy, statis will do 15% more damage. you'll kill a unit 30% faster now.

    vamps don't suck at what they do. they were very good before, lots of HP, and now, decent damage. don't like it? then use grunts. we'll see how much you miss vamps.

    No d-bomb improvement? (leaders can just move the use Y)f

    No Chopper pop fix?

    No quitting penalty in first 2 mins still?

     

    Dude, this is the first patch, give them a break. I personally am happy with the update, except no gauss nerf, but im sure one will come. 

    Even though I know having a point cap in games is nessisary to stop boosting, but its still a bit annoying. Oh well. Does anyone know what the cap will be btw?

     There you have it.  That's all they needed to hear.  Happy now??? ya cry babies!!!!

    I seriously think Aloysius should throw that post on the front page, or sticky it somewhere, like a "things to keep in mind" sticky where all that kind of stuff goes. I never even thought of that (the fact that certification and testing and every other thing you need to do for a patch/whatever to go live takes forever and a half). I dont think anyone else did either. 

     

    I guess im fairly satisfied with this, especially knowing that there is at least something in the works for the hogs. Maybe tech tier 4 for guass? 2 pop per warthog is just ludicrous, because then it loses its effectiveness as a scout unit - I have to keep 2 population always open instead of 1 just so I can do one of the most basic and important things in an RTS (scout). And to that, I dont think ive ever seen 40 guass hogs come at me. Ive only ever seen about 15-25, which still do enough damage, especially after early gunner/grenedier harassment. the problem is that they can simultaneously get guass with minimal effort WHILE they harass and expend. Grenadier and gunner arent the problem though, because they can be killed before they kill everything you have. 

    At any rate, as soon as the DLC comes out, I will be very happy. I cant wait for the random unit mode. Combined with this patch, its gonna be awesome.

    Cookie Krisp:Hopefully cutter gets a boost next patch cause he really needs one. Anders is going to be even more deadly now regardless of her hawk nerf.
    are you dumb how will anders be  more powerful if she got nerfed?

    Does anybody know what the new point requirements will be? and if you already passed it will it just promote you?
