Personally, I think they should do a game combining the playing styles of halo 3 and halo wars. Direct your army like in halo wars, but when you feel like fighting first person press the back button, or something, to enter first person shooter as one of the Spartans or the leader. While you are in FPS the computer generates the direction and movement of your army based on your last commands. It will be something like the forge in halo 3 switching between the monitor and master chief.

This idea has been done b4, you kids properly not alive then but back in ps1 days there was this RTS game on mars or the moon whatever where you play the units if you want to, you would build units to combat the monsters that infected the planet and you could control any unit you wanted. I used a flaw where i would use a big gun that could fire from a mass range, and if you used this manually you could win any level easy...

 

Anywho back on track i think halo 4 is going to be announced at E3 and halo wars 2 will probs not happen.

(I still pray for you to make one though Robot i really do)

It wont be called Halo 4, it will have a different name but it might still star Master Chief.  Hence, the Legendary ending.  but I do have 1 question, was Serina a smart AI or a dumb AI?  I was wondering this while I read 2 of the Halo books and I read that after 7 years a smart AI will crash due to being "too smart" from learning so much knowledge.

i would like to confirm something


When the spirit of fire is floating around at the end of halo wars do they fine master chief?

because in halo 3 masterchief appears to go in that direction,

But allow me to say that there could be a big time lapse involved here because both are drifting without a way home for years possibly.

So Halo Buffs I call upon you. clear my head up on this miss match endings.

Why would they fine him, I doubt Masterchief brought his wallet when he went through the portal in Halo 3 so they would never get paid. Besides I doubt Spirit of Fire would bother to fine him in the first place.

Seriously, spelling does make a difference "fine" and "find" have different meanings buddy

there will never be a halo 4.  There will be more "halo" games, but the games staring MC are done.

I think this spartan has one last battle and i think he meets some spartan friends on the way, felix theres jsut way too much unexplained about the story. I dont see how you could rule out a possibility of halo 4. 

As for the prequel i dear id say its very possible, but i think that you would play unsc marines like in ODST coming soon. Seems like everyone is becoming a Cod lover. 

as unlikely as it is we shouldn't rule out the possibility of halo 4 just yet ;-)

seriously, I don't think Bungie/Microsoft would ever actually kill off MC. Having him just drift off in space means he accomplished his mission, is still alive, and nicely gets him out of the way. Having him around the mysterious planet just keeps all of us poor souls devoted to him, jumping at every game or book they come out with. I like the idea about there being a prequel, but I'm not sure about the idea of H4. All the time since HCE, Bungie/Microsoft has referred to it as a "Trilogy" as in "The stunning conclusion to the epic trilogy!" etc. With so many other interesting characters and ideas out there to use, MC can use a bit of a rest.We'll definetly see more things like HW or ODST, but I think the only time MC will ever appear again is in books or a prequel.

unless, of course, Bungie/Microsoft take a leaf out of Douglas Adams' book...

 

and where did those different stages of rampancy come from? I've read/played every halo thing out there, and I don't remember that...     Can you give me a definite source?

Well by the books, there are still around 7-9 Spartans still alive.

 

my idea before was that MC meets the 3 spartans from the spirit of fire. meh just a guess. 

 the milky way galaxy is aproximately one hundred thousand light years in diameter (or across for ppl w/o a high school diploma). if you read the halo timeline provided by bungie for halo 1 it says that most of the human controlled worlds are in the Orion Arm of the milky way galaxy which is a relatively small part of our galaxy. for those who have read the canon it is said that a ship can travel all of human controlled space in about 6 months at FTL speeds. the ark as said in halo 3 is 3 radii away from the galactic center a radii is plural for radius and what spark is saying is take the radius of our galaxy which is fifty thousand lightyears and multiply that by 3 and you get 150 thousand lightyears so the ark is 150 thousand lightyears away from the cneter of the galaxy. now depending on which side of the galaxy the ark is on it can be between 125 thousand lightyears to 175 thouand lightyears away from earth. now the SoF was last seen by UNSC forces at the arcadia colony in the procyon system which is 11 lighyears away from earth and the travel time from harvest(which is 12 lightyears away from earth and a guestimate 10 lightyears away form arcadia since the two systems are on opposite side of the earth) was about 3 days from what i can guess from the ingame timeline and the trave time from arcadia to the shield word was about 4 days so depending on the headind that SoF took they are about 20 lightyears away from earth and at least 125 thousand lightyears away from the ark. also for those saying that the cryo pods would save them it all depneds on how much hydrogen the SoF has to use in its nuclear reactors once all the hydrogen is used they loose power and DIE. so there is no chance of the SoF meeting up withthe master chief the distance is to vast
