..what do you think about it? Any very good points or bad, how do you feel about it?

I think it was a great game. I'm a Halo fan, so the expectations were high, and it didn't made me disapointed! The story is very good and shows a different view of the war which is going on. The forerunner structures are really cool, and the game shows that there's so more than just the rings who's out there and waiting to be found. The covenant is searching a lot for Forerunner stuff, and in the game we see the beginning to the discover of the truth about the great journey. And I like that forerunner's like to be "inside planets" ^^,

The flood gives the game a intresting turn and I know that we all loved fighting with floods in Halo:CE ^^ For those who thinks that the flood shouldn't be there: You're wrong. That place could be a testing place for the flood which went crazy, but of course, they never got into the planet.

The game itself was pretty good. Of course there are details here and there, but it's nicely built up. The only thing I disturbes on is the fact that you can't deside where to place buildings.

What do you think will come next? I really hope Forge made it (somehow ^^,)

I hope forge made it to. thing is, Master chief and forge have the same name. John. Did anyone ever hear MCs last name in CE, 2, or 3? no. I think he tested out one  of the forerunner ships, made it back to earth, assumed a whole new identity, got plastic surgery, and signed up for the Spartan-II project, and became the Master Chief. people who disagree with me, its just a theory.

    Um... No.

SPARTAN-117 was kidnapped and forced into the SPARTAN-II project in 2517, fourteen years before Sgt. Forge fought the Covenant.

    Your 'theroy' is wrong.

    TNine:

Imbrium:I was pretty disapointed by the Spartans vs. Elites/Forge vs. Arbiter cutscene. It was just wasn't realistic at all. Arbiter would WTFPWN Forge in hand to hand any day, in the books just 1 Minor Elite(Blue) equals a Spartan in strength and speed and the Arbiter is massive for an Elite. So how did Forge win so easily?

The Spartans have 10 years of Close Quarters Combat training, the Elites have their natural instincts.  The Spartans didn't let it become a contest of skill.

But how the *** did Forge TACKLE THE ARBITER?  Seriously, makes no sense.

Forge did not tackle Arbiter.  He speared him.  Have you ever watched wrestling or football or even played football?  A spear can take almost any size man down.  I am big myself and have been speared and knocks you out.
I got Halo Wars the day it came out. I have flaming warthog and honor guard wraith. I even have the general rank and all the achievements. No one can beat that.

Re: When you all finished the game... (spoiler)

The campaign was enjoyful, but the Flood was definitely a change in unit preservation. You were pretty much protecting your base with turrets and infantry, while sending out Gauss and Scorpions to destroy everything else....until the Shield World level, where everything can screw you over. That's probably the most difficult level IMO, but I also thought some levels were a little short, such as the first Flood level and the last level. The last level slightly bothered me due to there being a timer AND difficult enemies. I'm working on defeating Shield World on Heroic, so I want to see how difficult the last level is.

    I do other stuff.

The elites were only minor elites with no shields or camo and the spartans had far superior weapons in that particular cut scene. The spartans are also completely nasty at everything so that helps too. And the only reason the arbiter lost was because he got cocky and let his guard down.

They looked almost like ceremonial guard.  They had what looked like pikes.  Seems like an odd armament for a minor elite.

the game was a failure for me. bad story, bad design. it did the story no justice, and i was quite angry when forge killed the arbiter. that would never happen anywhere else. forge should have had his head ripped off.

now my main point is that in halo, humanity is supposed to be losing. where is that shown? your always blowing away the covenant with hardly any losses on your side. where is the death? the charred cities? the mounds of human corpses, composed up of those too unfortunate enough to make it out in time? the last time i checked, the covenant left death where they tread, not happy endings for humanity.

The battle was completely realistic for Spartans; if anything it was too easy for them. As for Forge beating the Arbiter, Ripa was horrendously arrogant, and was basically toying with Forge. That's why Forge won.

And for anyone who thinks the storyline was horrendous; it was 10 times better than Halo: The Cole Protocol.

bah, an elite and a spartan is an equal fight. don't glamor them up. ensemble made the elites look like idiots, they would never fight like that, no matter how zealous they are.

even if the arbiter was arrogant, one punch should have been enough to crack open forges skull, he is a human after all.

Re: When you all finished the game... (spoiler)

    HW Review:

    Campaign: 3/10

It hardly followed basic canon, had horribly un-likable characters, stupid plot, dumb missions, and was overall ***.

    Multiplayer: 6/10

At least we have different factions, etc. etc. I love the abilities, and sometimes the overall gameplay. I hate the complainers. The MP was only denoted by the lag, bad graphics, and lack of free base building and maps. Pretty good, little above average.

    Gameplay: 7/10

Pretty good job, MP is the main part of this. Only thing is no free base building, and lack of maps and gametypes.

    Graphics: 9/10

    Cutscenes: amazing.

    Re: 1 campaign

Probably due to the time Ensemble was expected to ship out their product.

In adition, Halo Wars really isn't all that diverse to make a two sided campain.

Both sides, admittedly have similarly mirrored buildings, limiting the fun that would come out of a second campain.

That being said, I would buy a DLC campain instantly.

winkmaster wink:i hate how halo wars makes forge look lke he's so great every time he met the arbiter he got the **** beat out of him but they wanted to give him a good ending so the made him kill the arbiter, i thought that part was stupid they should have had a spartan/arbiter fight wich we all know who would win.

Ya, The arbiter would woop the spartans a**!
