Well, i would like topoint out, that alot of people from ES (not all of them however), are meant to be moveing into this new company, and said new company is the company thats maintaining Halo Wars after release (all that is what i renember from the original press statement thingy on the matter), so id like to see this new company make a sequel.

If a sequel ever happens anyway, i mean, the game has to sell well enough first.

How can they create another when they no longer exist?

You cant assume Ive played halo 2 on vista, because I havent.

 Difference is this halo wars achivement is called "bring on the sequel", and you get it after 100% completion of the game.

If you dont take that as at halo wars 2 hint.....then.....I suppose nothing else would be a hint for you.

 It could be a joke sure, but if it were a complete joke then I would assume it would be far less blunt. "Bring on the sequel" doesnt sound like a joke to me.

ES left flood unplayable on purpose. To leave them a reason to make another halo wars if one is in fact made.

As for them leaving....I dont see how that effects another halo wars game.

Perhaps even old members of ES still working with microsoft.

 OK.  Bring on the sequel. the joke is that if someone finishes the game and then likes the game and wants another game, he tries to find out if there will be another game but all he finds out is that there will be no other game because ES is closing. Its just a joke refering to ES closing and NOT BEING ABLE TO MAKE ANOTHER GAME. (however i don't actually know they wont make another game as a new company, so if they do this will look very silly, but i think its more likley for a company to be saying: 'there will be no sequel', than :'there will be a sequel', if they are closing) And why would they hint to an announcement of a sequel on an achievement anyway?

and just so you know, i think its completeley possible for a sequel but i don't think that the achievement is announcing one. in fact i think the achievement was put in by ES because they thought they wont have a sequel.

I dont see how my opinion is that crazy, nor how it would piss you off, nor for that matter....how it would make me stupid.

First off, if you were a regular person(one that doesnt know about ES closing after halo wars)and you got a achievment called "Bring on the sequel" you WILL think they intend to make another.

Why on earth would you not think that?

You dont know the developers are disbaned.

And its not as if halo is really popular.

Another thing. Developers dont have to announce another game for the public to assume they will make more.

We all knew they would have a halo 2 and 3. True it was more obvious with those games, but to say a halo wars 2 will be made is no stretch, and to think they will make another after seeing that achievement is a legit thought.

One that I can promise you many fans of halo wars not present on this site will have.

Besides....if ES put that achievement in to make fun of their own disband(cant imagine how that would be funny)and someone found out that achievement was just a joke....that fan will be really pissed.

 Really....if ES wasnt getting disbaned im sure you would agree that this specific achievement is a hint(a huge hint)at another game.

And even tho they are getting disbaned its not as if any other company out there couldnt make the next one.

Most likely there will be a sequal, probably in 2012-2014 and made by microsoft. I hope it isn't a prequal, maybe a sequal to halo 3 with new units, factions, maps, and game modes

@Turnkey Jonas: How did I know someone would say something along the lines of "OMG PLAYZ AS FORERUNNERZ YEZ". It saddens me. Legacy is intended as how the Forerunners had an impact on the Halo Universe. Hence. NO Forerunenr factions. And ES, if you are considering using my name, please think about people like this guy, who will no doubt think Forerunner are playable.

As to the rest of the thread, yes Halo Wars 2 is very much possible, and in any time-line, even during the Halo trilogy could be quite possible. And to all you idiots out there dis-crediting the whole Achivement thing, it is not that big of a deal anyway, we'll find out in about a years time anyway if there is going to be another Halo Wars.
