    Are the Covenants "ages" kind of like the way their base slots are upgraded from 3 to 5 to eventually 7?

    or is it something completely different?

    The ages are similar to the UNSC reactor levels, and base slots are not tied to them.

    In campaign are there checkpoints so if you lose you dont have to start the mission over again?
    No checkpoints within a single mission, but you can save your game at any time. Then come back to that point at a later time.

    I have just one more question at the moment Paragon.

    I would have to assume that each "tech level" requires a significant expenditure of resources to obtain as with all the other tipical RTS games out there. What I am wondering about is after that expense is paid in full is there some sort of upkeep taken from your resources? Or could that possably be tied with the amount of units you have fielded?

    Typicly RTS games have a penilty for having X amount of units out at any given time. With Sins of a Solar Empire it is attached to the amount of ships you can produce. These resource reductions go to maintaining those units.

    I am not asking for spesific benchmarks on where these lines would be located, just weather or not they actually exist.

    I love AoM, although I cannot run Age 3 on my computers, very high graphic expectations for that game.

    How would you go about setting up another base in Halo Wars? Do you need a certain uint, or are their  pre-designated spots where you can build so long as you have resources?

    What is the highest pop cap for the UNSC you can get?

    70 that's the highest for unsc for covies I think 120 or 130.

    While I have seen such a mechanic used before, I would go far as to say RTS's typically use it; since none of our "age" games used it. As for HW there is no continuing upkeep cost for units or tech levels.

    Sadly i think it is Vigil.

    I believe you can only build other bases at pre placed areas, or where an enemies base was after you destroy it.

    I'm still a little confused about the Ages /Levels.

     Im guessing ages are researched at the temple or something of the sort.

    And the UNSC have reactors that i guess unlock new abilities or units?

    And if the vulture needed a 3 power level to be made, would that mean the you need three power sources? say three reactors?
