I belive that ther are not showing all units you could build and hence only showing the ones shown in the UNSC page they are giving us the felling that some of the better/cooler units are left out to give anticapation for buying the game.

NOTE there is a "blurred" outline of what looks like a pelican in the UNSC thing so I'd put my guess that they might be buildable but only a limited number of them.

In all the wars we have faced the death toll total has been millions, so whats wrong with a few more?

Well yea they could be trying to build suspense cause bungie did alot of that for halo 3.

I really wish they would fill the UNSC manual before the end of this year and start working on the covie one clsoe to when the game ships. 

Because hopefully it will be in Jan. or Feb.

In my opinion, Pelicans should be buildable and playable.  Besides the Warthog, they are likely one of the most iconic vehicles from Halo.  I realize that some could say that "Its not Halo without Pelicans."  But, its not really Halo without Master CHief either...  haha

Well Pelicans are like one of the staples that hold the UNSC together.

 I mean they transport just about everything in their military.

I know these are older but they are here as well.

Plus if they are playable but not buildable and you have a limited number for a mission then why put them on the front line?

here is a shot i found with a pelican in it. it look fresh to me. if you look fire is still comeing out of it and that there is people shooting at it. though the one the other person showed with the pelicans in a full invasion is better. been long time since last post.

I'm pretty sure they are a part of one of the leaders like Cuttler (Spelling) has the elephent. So whose the other leader? Does this leader have pelicans????? All our questions will become more clear as time progresses... I just wish time would go faster. lol
