Theory: Brutes and Sgt. Johnson in Halo Wars

I have an idea on how brutes could be in the game,or at least make an appearance in the campaign.

On other Brute threads people have said that they can't be in the game because of an incident on Harvest when the war first started, which as a result they were removed from combat roles, but at the time the game takes places the elites hadn't removed their combat status yet.

    Sgt. Johnson:

I haven't read Contact Harvest, but from what I understand, Johnson was on Harvest at the time the fighting first started as was spartan team omega. Graeme Devine said in an interview, most major characters won't be in Halo Wars, but some fimiliar faces would make an apperance. Since Johnson was most likely on Harvest in 2531, he could show up in the campaign.

    Your thoughts?

Im sure We would all love brutes Chargeing to there doom

And We all Want Invulnerable Sgt.Johnson Saying *i know What the ladys like* over and over again lol :P

    on a more Serious Note

if Brutes Had that Automatic Chargeing Thing like in halo 3 then they would be pretty useless expect maybe turning a wart hog

And Sgt.Johnson Wouldnt have that Invulnerable thing but hed still be one kick ass unit/hero/commander *isnt he a spartan?*

Personally i think heros are not needed and are just over powered i mean Power units Like Spartans and Scarabs are nice but heros? Who needs a guy leveling up enough to kill a scarab by  him self? :P

I'm saying that since Sgt. Johnson, and the brutes were on Harvest around the time Halo Wars takes place, its possible they could make an appearance. Johnson could be in cutscenes or some special unit in campaign,

The brutes, units in the covenant, or just units that are in certain missions in the campaign.

okay, well, that makes sense, Sgt. Johnson could be like a hero thing, like that 1 guy suggested..

On a different note: I wonder if the Ensemble Studio's halo wars will have similar control schemes as Age of Empires, Even if it is 4 the 360, there may be something in common

anyway, yea, johnson could be in cut-scenes, but im not too sure about him being in the game

and aww man, he dies, well that kind of stinks, at least he went down shooting something with a red laser :) -good way to die-

Re: Theory: Brutes and Sgt. Johnson in Halo Wars

    WARNING! MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS

Sgt. Johnson actually escaped Harvest, so why would he immediately make a U-turn back to a planet currently under seige?

Also, If you think that Johnson would later go back, he actually was on one of those space things (name escapes me) when 117 rescues him. Then they go to Halo. And back. And to Delta halo. Then back. Then to the Ark. Then he never returns. (Dies on Ark).

So there is no way he would have enough time to run back and help save Harvest. Please correct me if I'm wrong :P.

Had to revert back to this signature due to the other one being to big. Booo.

Re: Theory: Brutes and Sgt. Johnson in Halo Wars

Ok, dont flame if im wrong but if the incident on harvest where the brutes were removed from combat status was at the very beginning of the war then how would they be in the rest of the game if they were removed on harvest?

Re: Theory: Brutes and Sgt. Johnson in Halo Wars

The brutes always were in "combat status" however the elites were in military command and I dont think saw the brutes "fit" for the honor of frontline combat and were always left with the shittiest technology like instead of grav lifts they got ladders.  My point is the brutes were never seen fit by  the elites.  The first contact on harvest was a lone ship and probably was the only ship commanded by the brutes which were mearly investigating the "aliens" (us) on harvest because they picked up on forerunner luminaries.
