Halo 7
The remaining Marines pilled into the pelicans just before the first combat and infection forms could get over the wall. The marines maning the chainguns in the troop bay opened fire. If the pelicans want to get out in time, they would have to go at full speed and at a 180 degree angle. "Buckle up boys, this is going to test her," yelled the pilot over the roar off the thrusters. The pelicans spun up to 180 degrees and jet rocketed out off there. One marine fell out of his seat because of inproper fastining and just before he fell out, Freeman caught the man by the leg. "Close these doors"screamed Freeman. The door started closing and when they finally did, Freeman let go of the recruit. He hit the door and went unconsoious. Freeman knew he would live.
The pelicans landed in the hanger and the marines filled out and were checked for infection. Everyone passed. Freeman and the Lt. Commander strode towards the bridge of the UNSC Bad Company. Whan they arrived they were greeted by Admrial Jaggers. "Everyone is aboard soldiers so we will prepare our firing sequence." All of a sudden, they heard a loud bang and screams. Freeman grabbed his pistol and walked into the hallway. He could see soldiers and crewmen running from a combat form and a dozen infection forms. "How the hell did they get on board," questioned the Lt. Commander. They made it into the bridge and the door shut, slicing a combat form in half and answered by a marine from a burst of his BR55. " Well that closed just in time," said a marine, joking.

In my times, the darkened days,
Evil invaded the world.
We farmers,
We workers of the Red Union,
We united and slaughtered them all.
The brave soul,
Above the evil,
Planted our inspiration atop their burning cities.
