I was reading the FAQ's on the Bungie site and I noticed this "Q: Is this the last ever Halo game? A: It is the conclusion to this story ark" that would mean it is only the story of the ark so there might be another series of halo games about something else that would have Spartan 117 or they might make another series with one of the other Spartans.  What do you think?

I think that Bungie isn't done with the Halo series, because unless the Ark can also remote detonate all the Halos so that they cannot be used and kill all the Flood without hurting any other sentient life, there are still conflicts to be resolved.

Story ark is refering to 1 story of a larger spectrum. So there will be more halo games but taking place at different time lines with totally different conflicts. Example: Star wars movies is one story ark and Star Wars knights of the old republic is a different story ark of the same universe.

 

 Also just so you know flood = sins , halo = biblical flood Ark = noahs ark , Halo 1-3 = End of days , Truth = false prophet , Gravemind = beast of the end of days , cortana = prostiute of the end of days.

 

Noahs ark uses the forerunner crystals . One was on reach and later fell in the hands of truth and a second was found on coral. The crystals have special powers. The one found on reach could bend time. Using one small shard of the crystal after it was smashed allowed master chief to be leaving to earth 2 days before he left halo. He left halo and then 3 days later left for earth. So for a while master chief was in two places, one on reach and one in space time heading for earth. Eventually the past master chief used the crystal as well and he was only in 1 place again.

 

Exactly. I would actually like to see a story arc based around Johnson. They'd probably need a new name (Halo 4 suggest's John would be the main character).

 First game: Johnson's involvement before and during the beginning of the Covenant war up until Reach. Perhaps also his Spartan-I training, if he was indeed a Spartan-I

Second game: Johnson's actions on Alpha Halo and the Ascendant Justice. It would kind of be cool to fight along side John rather than as him.

Third game: Johnson's action after First Strike. Johnson spends a lot of time away from John on Delta Halo, and it would be neat to see this and just know that John is wreaking absolute havok on the Covenant somewhere else.

Personally if bungie did continue the game from another view point, I'd rather see it from other spartans who have shields like MC, because being Johnson would kinda like be playing Ghost Recon except the AI's would destroy me. When i think about it a little more I'd like to see if the little spartan dudes get off reach and live to fight in the distant future against a new enemy.

Well, think of it this way. Half-Life was a generally successful game in which a core element was the HEV suit shield (which didn't recharge unless you found a recharger port). Blue Shift and Opposing Force were both successful expansions for the game in which you played as characters without HEV suits but still had armor. Basically, Johnson could have a static armor count (meaning no recharge) and could pick armor off dead soldiers to increase it. Also, Johnson wouldn't have to worry much about Flood infection forms.
