Doubt it. I have gone to ES and they are a great group of people and I expect another great game from them.

This project has been underway for a longer time than you may think, atleast 1-1.5 years.

But ES always welcomes beta testers (when the game reaches that stage).

i guarantee you there will be not public or open beta testing for this game.

For Age of Mythology, ES did a public beta test, and then sent out copies for a near-final version to very limited people through the fan sites.

For AoE3, it was a closed beta test from what I know.

    So, you never know.

actually i do know, which is why i'm telling you, i guarantee there will be no public beta testing for this game, MS nor Bungie will allow  any story based information get leaked for this game, which means no public beta or playtesting.

You may be absolutely right, but you have no proof (as far as I can tell), which means you DO NOT know.

I think we can trust our Microsoft Janitor Stick out tongue on this one, i would imagine Microsoft being pretty cloak and dagger on such things and try to keep it limited.

I think so too, but too say that "I know" seems a bit overboard.

Don't really think there is much I can do to convince you anyway.
Correct. Which is why I think it is pointless for someone to say they know or work for ES unless they have some hard proof or references to back up what they say.

Never said I work for them or know them.

I just said I visited them.

And they just happpened to tell you that they've been working on it for over a year....

Why would they tell you that ??

You are right they didn't someone else did.

But signs indicate atleast an year of work on this, with rumours of ES developing a console RTS being around since March/April, when they claimed they had succesfully devised a control scheme on a console for RTS games.

Public betas are only multiplayer testing, no SP stuff in there.

Good for you, but ES doesn't do public single player testing for the campaign. You might be able to play RMS offline, but not the campaign.

Re: is anyone from the halogen project gonna be on the dev team?

The only Beta testing I've ever done is for XBL Beta.

After that Beta, I didn't use XBL till Halo 2 came out since you can't play Halo:CE on XBL.

stop spamming already, edit your last post to add similar information....and give it up already, they will be no public beta testing for this game.

I never said there will be. I am saying, there might be.

And I am not spamming, I am merely posting and participating in a discussion.

I can't see what the big deal is anyway, sure it is fun to beta test, but it doesn't really matter that much, i prefer to sit with either the demo or the full version. Why ? Because they are usually a little more stable and contain some SP content, which is what i prefer.
