I love it, and I feel it's easier to write than the Covenant perspective.

lol its the complete opposite for me

I find it interesting, but It's much easier to relate to.

    Re: FF: The Resistence

If you are writing form a Human perspective its real easy, I mean, just place yourself in the shoes of the charcter in question and write what you think.

Elites dont look like Humans at all....

Its kinda funny in a weird way how people think that just because they got their FF criticized that its an auto-failure.  Dont give up so bloody easily, just put some work into fixing it up and it will turn out great!

Thanks Ryzza & Mr. Bacon for teaching me how to make these

I wouldn't say it was a failure. Recognition takes time. If you felt it wasn't very good, then you shouldn't have put it up, or at least edited it.

Whats the point in posting some thing if it doesnt please your audience? I want to know if it was worth carrying on writing.

If people did not like it and didn't tell me then i would carry on posting chapters and it would be a wast of time.

    Re: FF: The Resistence

The point i was trying to get across about the elites was that they stood like humans, there stance was like humans, they had arms and legs, but the were not humans.

Err....self satisfaction. I only have one consistant reader, and though his comments are greatly appreciated, I don't really do it for him. I do it because I WANT TO.

I had long periods where I was just me posting the story, sure I will admit it was depressing, but I perservered, as I liked the story, the characters and I wanted to finish it. If you need the audience to tell you to continue, you probably don't have the commitment to finish it. If you don't care enough about it to continue without a simple yay or nay from other people, I don't think you're cut out for this.

But who am I to rant about commitment, I'm a lazy sod, and The fans following my stories is one of the reasons I'm still doing it. I'm just saying, if you don't believe in your own work, there's no point continuing.

Then people's opinions shouldn't matter so much.

    As do I.

    Re: FF: The Resistence

You said stuff that you had repeated several times. And that guy, how did he knock out an elite?? I mean, in the book Fall of Reach, MC himself had trouble fighting a one on one match with an elite. And wouldn't the elite's shield taken the brunt of the punch?

But it was a nice job. Keep it up, an I will read it.

Also, just so you know, to much details is almost as bad as not nearly enough. So just remember that and you should be good.

    Re: FF: The Resistence

Thanks, but when i write i like to be able to have an image in my head of what is going on. I may change it for the next chapter then

The battle is in the next chapter and the stroy takes a bit of a twist.
