I didn't know that either.  I just used some common sense - We're on a halowars forum, every time you check stats it shows a total life stats of all games... hmmm, probably talking about total HW game play..  voila! 

 

 

But that's assuming I check the stats?  I don't play MM, why would I go into that section?

Yes I think we will because in the two days after u posted this the total is 786 years... So thats 3 years every 2 days! If we increase in just 50% of the speed we are at (3 years every 4 days) we should reach 1000 years in less that 300 days...But it probably will stay around 3 years every two days until the release of Halo Reach.
