It looks like chess. I think it's fair to say that it doesn't look exciting. I like chess, but I would never get excited about it. IMO.

I think I might get reach now, before I was thinking of just renting it like ODST.

Hopefully Reach won't be as fail as ODST.

Well rent or buy ODST for may 3rd and download the reach beta 

That doesn't work...

May 3rd the "New Intel" option on ODST's Main Menu will change to "Reach Beta" or something. You actually have to have the ODST disk to get into the Beta, like Crackdown for Halo 3's Beta.

And, ODST was NOT fail. It introduced Firefight, and on top of that had a short but very sweet storyline, showing that Bungie really can make characters in-depth even in the game.

Not to mention the whole slew of different moods...from the dreary, and somewhat creepily calm nightime streets of New Mombasa, to the chaotic daytime vehicular missions and the awesome nightime Banshee assault mission...

ODST was actually pretty decent. WAY overpriced though. I paid...I think $79.99 for pre-order.

Firefight was nothing special IMO. It was just an obvious game mode thanks to the success of Horde (thanks GoW2).

Fun, but no surprise there. Halo has always been fun.

ODST Firefight was FUN. Not perfect, but certainly something new for Halo...

Now that Bungie knows exactly what we like and dislike about all those new modes (Theater, Forge, Firefight, etc.) just imagine what the Reach versions of these are going to be like...

I know...who knows, though? They had a chess board, movement boxes...I know they can do anything they want to the game to cause that,to happen, but still: it could be like a Bungie Day special, or DLC, or just a goof-off mode like in Forge or something...

DANG IT, Bungie, you keep everything in the shadows!!

lol, Speculating and anticipating what may or may not happen in the game and all is almost as fun as PLAYING the game...just like Halo 3. The pre-game months were so fun...we were so clueless...xD
