    spaceless is good but not too great either. i think i can take him (prophet vs anders) on a good day.

    studmuffin:in POR vs anders jsut get bless then turrets, and go temple first on hook maps, if it's a map like chasms or blood glutch then it's a pretty equal battle but if it's a big map with no hooks like tundra then you only chance really is turtle with one turret then blessed (normally other way around) the exception is pirth were you have a VERY slim chance but hey you can try. if they double base as anders on that map double base aswell becas you will ahve the time, and get the reactor hook for 3 minute tech 2 POR with two bases (no upgrades to warehouses) and that way your protected from hogs and flamers pretty well, then go for hall and summit and make somthing out of there that will best suit how many of a certain kind of unit they have, if they ahve alot of flamers with not alot of hogs make banshee's and jackels and if they have alot of hgos with not alot of flamers thengo for jackels plus hunters and if they have air gremlins and stuff then go for pure air. it will be hard to stop just watch out for cryo

    that is good but with no turrets they will just run around your base and then your screwed because you can't catch them and just lose WH's.

    Tundra - Equal (somewhat)

    Release - Anders all the way

    Pirth - Anders all the way

    Blood Gulch - Equal (imo)

    Chasms - Anders (imo)

    lol, I forgot to mention turrets, sorry bout that that's kinda important

    BTW good luck in your GB match, dont fo for the safe route is all im gonig to say the safe route is safe because it's predictable and with him being good he will know how to counter it dot be afriad to try sotmhing different or just say "oh he's to good for that to work". unless it's a cyclops rush or ghosts rush jsut go ahead and give it a try and play it like any other match. remeber it's jsut a game.

    also if it makes you feel any better I beat him in DM twice, he was playing POR

    LuLz!!! 

     

    1v1 is about adapting, if you have build orders, then that means the enemy gets to do whatever they please with you. Everything is dependent on map player and skill 

     

    Never go Turret early, go Bl. Imo, Losing a PoR is much more hurtful then losing a SP. 

     

    If they rush your base, try and finish whatyou are doing ie, capping a hook, then port back, and camp your Turret Socket and let the Turret Build with you PoR protecting it. Once it builds chase hogs away with your PoR...

     

    Then push into Hunters/Jackals, or Hunters/Ghosts

     

    Then its all up to hook battles, and micro. 

     

    If you play a decent Anders on Barrens then resign, lol Almost impossible to win, it is possible, but it takes SOOO MUCH more out of you then them. However PoR>Anders on Release :-D

    only maps where anders is reallty hard is pirth and barrens.

    on hookless maps, anders has a hard time as well as prophet but you can use that your advantage by putting pressure on anders. if he only has 1 base you will have the advantage so if you think he is expanding just go bring the base down and keep him from double pumping gauss or gremlins(if you want a vehicle army).

    tundra isn't the best prophet map but you can beat anders fairly easily as long as anders doesn't cryo glitch instead of expanding but she would need to build up a lot of money so as long as you can keep the pressure up, you can win.

    tech 2 boom only take just over 3 min if you upgrade all ur whs as the come up. having tech 2 is very useful as covenant as it gives you almost the entire teh tree and also the best upgrades.

    build orders are good to an extent but you do need to have the vision and knowledge to adapt

    ...? I did that day 1, its not a FJ thing. Also its sonly on hook maps, and there are x10 better builds. Thats why he maxed out at 43 TS while a good anders will make it to 50

     

    Top 100 you dont need a build to do anything, okay. 

     

    I just picked up ones about 2 weeks ago, I have no build, and i am 112 now, your saying I cant make the next 12 spots without a build? Lol, I dont have one, and I bs everything as I go and it works

    6. If opponent keeps harrassing with hogs, quickly counter attack with Prophet+bonded shield hunters. Destroy the barracks immediately and then camp the base with lots of hunters. Good game

    7. If opponent goes heavy on flamers. Go straight to tech 2 and mass beam rifle jackals.

    8. If opponent goes tanks, mass hunters.

    9. If opponent goes hornets, go straight for vampires, or go straight for regrets doom and put anti-air turrets on your base.

    10. If opponent goes 50% hogs, 50% flamers, mass hunters.....cleanse the flamers.

    11. Always claim resource elevators before reactors.

    12. Never build a shield generator. If you get harassed, build more fuel rod turrets. You need the extra slot for duel halls or an extra warehouse.

     

     

    Do this on every map except blood river. Trying to garrison a building 30 seconds earlier is risky and not that beneficial. You'll be fine with the temple 3rd strat even on Blood gulch. I'm not BSing, I got to TS 46 doing that same strat over and over. There's no secret.

    Perfect, illustrates the need for some Build orders but with importance on being able to adapt

    that was very helpful, your strat with por is very helpful but I find it does help on some maps to go temple first. I find it worth it to risk some early harrasment to gain the suply elevaters, i think its down to preference really. you can still get a turret up in time if you go temple firstand take the hook.

    The problem with going temple first is that your opponent can force a win if they know what they are doing. If hogs attack your base while you try to capture the resource/reactor, you are going to lose more money than if you went warehouse x2 first cause the hogs will keep taking down your buildings. PoR can't stop it because you won't have blessed. Even if you had blessed, you won't catch the hogs anyways. And going temple first guarantees you won't have the $$$ to afford blessed and a turret.

     

    Warehouse x2 with turret is pretty much foolproof......literally. Nothing can go wrong with it. You could even go temple 3rd or 4th safely if you build the 3rd-5th buildings under the cover of the left turret. Since it's impossible to get attacked before building #3, you should build those on the exposed sides first. Another reason to do the slow method is because you will need those turrets later on, even if you don't get attacked early. A few fuel rod turrets and 2 hunters will pretty much stop any gauss hog attack. Shield generator won't.
