Aloysius:Today, Jason Pace, the Halo Waypoint creativity director, talks about some of the overall Halo Achievements in this interview over here http://g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/post/700245/Significantly-Less-Than-1-Of-Halo-Players-Have-Every-Possible-Achievement.html.

He doesn't go into any broad detail about the achievements, but I can delve a little bit deeper for you guys.

-More than 75% of all Halo Wars players completed the first mission of the campaign on any difficulty.
-Roughly 35% of players completed the single player game on any difficulty.
-About 7% of players collected all of the skulls in the single player campaign.
-2% of players completed the single player campaign on Legendary difficulty.
-Less than half a of percent of players have the General rank on Xbox Live.

    Wow...

I am part of the less then half percent of players who have General Rank out of millions...

And to further narrow it down I'm probably in the unique few who have all the achievements and is a top player...

    Re: Halo Wars Achievement Factoids

I wonder if there are any achievements in Halo 3 or ODST that are just as hard, or take as long to get as the General achievement?

For me, the Endure achievement was pretty challenging. That and the Deja Vou was long... long and frustrating. Also, personally, Mongoose Mowdown and Overkill is full of rage.

I think just finding people who don't quit while you are trying to get Endure should be an achievement.  2 hours gone...  Peace out

How is the General rank fair again?

I love how 1/4 of players dont start the campaign. Second accounts i imagine.

    and so the story ends...

I thought that was an odd statistic. A vast majority of people getting the game and not starting the campaign at all seems very strange!

    Re: Halo Wars Achievement Factoids

LoL. and guess what. i have obtained enough points in Halo Wars to have double the amount required for the General Achievement. I have over 4.5 million score. Most of it was accuired while i didnt work full time. the time between graduating and getting a job, which was long thanks to the economy. but u really just got to win a lot and get a good kill ratio. thats the key.
but i havent got 100% for all the achievments because im not much of single player guy. i love online.
shoot i played AOE3 (their other rts game ES made) forever and never did play the campaign for any of the expansions and only a few missions for the original.

AOE3 wasn't "their other game." They also made the entire Age of Empires series, each of which I liked better than 3.

They made Age of Mythology (awesome game).

And they'll have made other games, but those were their big ones.

    Re: Halo Wars Achievement Factoids

Wow you're dumb. The way you said it ("AOE3 (their other rts game ES made)") implied that it was their only other game, or at the very least, the most significant of their other games. I was just pointing out that the other games were just as significant, if not more so. I in no way even suggested that Age3 was not made by ES. Actually, I said it was, by saying that "they ALSO made..."

I too have most of the Age of Empires games, and Age of Mythology and it's expansion. However, I didn't buy the expansions for Age3 or Age 1, and I lost my Age2 expansion when I moved.

Really, just learn English before you talk.

Maybe then you'll actually realise what you're saying, and what other people have said.
