    Korther:

BJ Goldenrod:it's no good to be fake in order to get a girlfriend who, when she finds out you play HW, will dump you anyway. doing this project will weed out any girls who weren't good for you in the first place.

Every girl with half a brain these days knows most, if not all of their boyfriends play videogames.  I'm sure they're also indifferent about what they play for the most part unless it's a 24/7 type of thing.

Doing a school project showing off your l337 skills on it and stuff, is different.

did you read the post? he isn't doing a project to "show off his skills".

do you ever have anything constructive to say or are you content being a judgemental troll?

If you think that making a school project video on Halo Wars Strategies to show to your peers isn't going to get you ridiculed and a social pariah--then I lol at you.

he is doing it because his school has given him an opportunity to choose a subject, rather than assigning him one. so he has chosen a topic that he enjoys. it will probably be the most fun he ever has doing schoolwork. should we make every decision in our lives on the basis of what others will think? if you think so, then i lulz at you

He has every right to do what he enjoys for his school project.

I also have every right to laugh at him for being a tool.

I honestly don't care what others think of me--but I don't go out of my way to look like an idiot.

But he's going to embarass himself. There are only certain people who could pull of a Halo wars strategy school project presentation, and I have a feeling OP isn't one. Maybe he doesn't realize people are going to ridicule him. Me and Korther and a few others are trying to helpe the kid, he will regret doing this project.

Do your presentation on 'Safe Sex and the Use of Condoms, as well as Other Contraceptives"

It's a win-win. You teach valuable life lessons, and inadvertantly reveal that you use Magnum Custom Fit, for the extra large man.

Very good points. I loled the whole time at Korther and your bickering.

the point is, he has already considered the risks you've put forth, and decided that his project is on Halo Wars strategies, and thus reached out to the community for help composing the project. telling him he will be a "pariah" to the 15 other kids who hear his presentation (which they could really care less about) so that he shouldn't do it, is ignorant to the purpose of his post. in short, stop being such a party pooper.

    Re: halo wars project

I'm not sure I'm buying this.... He hasn't posted anything since the 11th, which was the only day he ever posted anything. He doesn't explain how a project describing Halo Wars strategies has an educational purpose, and doesnt say what class it's for.

I have a feeling someone is desperate for some copyrighted strategies....

I even looked at his 2 other posts. He made a thread asking where all the skulls and black boxes were.

So my message to you is: Youtube is your friend!

Where's he live, Iqaluit? Why are there only 15 more people in his class?

BJ Goldenrod:the point is, he has already considered the risks you've put forth,He has? How do you know? You're just speculating to seem right.  Many kids just do sh*t like this because they think it'll be cool without a second thought.  It's no fact here. He probably didn't consider the risks at all and this is the first he's hearing of it. and decided that his project is on Halo Wars strategies, and thus reached out to the community for help composing the project.Cool, there are thousands of videos on YT of Halo Wars strategies.  We're just voicing our opinions on his project.  GOD FORBID THAT IT ISN'T PATTING HIM ON THE BACK. telling him he will be a "pariah" to the 15 other kids who hear his presentation 15 or so other kids? Okay, I'll give you that a few kids will see his presentation.  But you must be a f*cking ignorant twit if you don't think stuff like this gets around so quick.  A kid did something stupid like this except with WoW in our school in a class of about 18, and by the end of hte day the entire High School knew. (which they could really care less about) so that he shouldn't do it, is ignorant to the purpose of his post. in short, stop being such a party pooper.

You must be one of those idiots who babies kids in everything they do and try to make them think that anything they do is okay or wont have any consequences.
