While it wasnt that ridiculous. I and another friend both playing Covenant, I arbiter, and he the brute chieftain both got to an 8 minute scarab on crevice. We fought 2 anders and got epic warthog "rushed" and killed 70+ warthogs before losing both our scarabs and losing altogether... :( .

 

Why isnt the scarab better for how much it costs in unit cap and Cash? 

Aloysius said the Scarabs were getting an upgrade in the next TU. Hopefully it won't be some ripoff 5% damage increase...

I have a scarab story. I was playing against this n o o o b. I think his gamertag was KSI SC MATT. I went streight for a scarab (got it in about 7 mins) and wasted everything he had but I decided to toy with him and let him get his stupid achievements.

I found 2 Scarabs wrecking my teammate's base on exile.

I sent in 40 cyclops and tore them apart in seconds.

Does that cover how much they suck?

Now admittedly it'll work decently in Frozen Valley if you sneak them up a mountain behind the base.  And while ground units like Grizzlies, Hunters, and Cobras can still shoot at it on the mountain, only 1 or 2 of them can attack it because of the natural chokepoint around the bases.

But if there's a PoR, Chieftain, Cutter, or anyone with air units on the other team, that Scarab is dead.

Wrong, I could of won in 9 minutes but I let you build up to get those achievements remember?
