Re: Covenant hunters vs. UNSC vehicle depot

The reason why a lot of covenant units don't have Y abilities or aren't as reliant on them is because that makes them easier to manage when coupled with the leader powers.

Not to mention, it's probably easier on Robot's part if all they have to do is tweak a few numbers here and there instead of making entirely new abilities.  With that said, a damage reduction to heavy infantry armor type from explosive, warthog ram, and Gauss Cannon weapon types is probably the best solution, and definitely called for.  I also can't say it's too unreasonable, as it's completely retarded for Hunters to get so easily countered by the units they're supposed to be strong against.  I'm not too sure what the developers were thinking when they set these damage values.

Maybe improve the hunters accuracy. Or at least increase the bonded shield upgrade so they can withstand canister.

They beat Scorpions pretty easilly, Grizzlies might be a problem though. Engineers help when fighting Grizzleys, but it might still be a bit unbalanced.

If you got a summit you might as well drop the hall and DP banshees.

The problem with summit is that you have a narrow window of opportunity to use banshees vs. tanks until UNSC gets wolverines out that HARD counter air.  If you miss your chance at tech 2-3 and they get dual launcher wolverines, you are in a world of hurt.

The good part is that double pumping banshees is very effective at tech 2 vs UNSC.

Well I'd personally drop the hall, lock my base, and get a full pop of banshees and boost over and kill the VDs and Reactors so they won't be able to produce Wolvs.

UNSC units are stronger than Covie. Covie has bigger population. It evens out. I've beaten Grizz spam with T3 Hunters, T2 Banshees, and a leader. How about people learn to counter effectively rather than complaining? Saying everything is OP or UP means that you are just an UP player. I'm waiting for a thread about how supply pads/warehouses and pelicans are OP.

The UNSC could just scout you and make Wolverines.

Problem is, you'll get blocked off from Wolverines if you go all Kamikaze xD

Hey the cryoglitcher made his way to the forums, how cute.

Oh yeah, I'm the guy who's sent you like 8 million messages about how you shouldn't cryoglitch in 1v1.

    Korther:

    No.

    1) Don't make AB cumulative damage.  Make it do its current max damage right away--not build up to it.

    2) Don't make AB break on the slightest flinch of a unit.  Seriously, allow the hunters to turn with a unit and fire at it until it goes out of physical range.  In fact, allow it to move and shoot with AB.  Or even better, stationary AB (2x damage) and when moving it does Spirit Bond-esque damage with the single shots.

    bold: it already does.

but i agree with the point that if their targets move they break the beam, its stupid.
