Anyone got any guesses on when Halo Wars is going to be released?

I'll say Q4 2008.  Just in time for Christmas.

I don't know... They could release this game near the release of the movie. That'll be a good move, but this game could come out early 2007 leaving Halo 3 to come out Holiday 2007.

Bungie said it's playable already. I would guess next year.

 

I'm sure they said something like Esemble took a playable version to them. That doesn't mean the games ready... 

OK think about it? halo 3 is coming out very soon right? so. they will release it probably 6 - 10 months after ward when people are in the hype of halo 3.

My guess would be sometime in 2008. No sweat though, Halo 3 will be out by then for me to deal with the wait.

I would guess the same as ebor. Though I hope they take their time. Lord knows there have been all too many games that were released too early, and suffered for it. Bungie is (well) known for taking the time needed to do their games right, and I hope that Ensemble Studios will be no different.

I would guess that Halo 3 *might* come out around then. Only time will tell.  

gawd it better be before '08. i needs me my strategy fix, but I'm sure halo 3 will hold me over till then.

Between early-mid 2008

I'm gonna have to agree with alot of you.  Early 2008 seems like a likely release date.  Since the game is already playable, I could see it being released in Late 2007, but I don't think Microsoft wants Halo Wars and Halo 3 to be released close to each other.

I would say early 08 is the most logical geuss...but who knows right?

I'd say sometime between '07 and '09. Definately not this year, though.

either way the date will have a 7 in it.
