I get your point on these strats being for late game. To put it simply, you are using booming strat. Here is a refresher on what strats beat what:
Boom > Turtle
Turtle > Rush
Rush > Boom
As you can see, a rush will beat you. the only strat that you might beat is a turtling strat. But then, you think your opponent will turtle if they see you got no units out and you are going heavy on the supply-pads?? If you are trying to help out the new-comers, you should start by explaining what strats beat what. I don't think that it is a good idea to concentrate on booming strats right off the bat. from my experience, this is what new-comers have trouble with; they don't know if they should boom, turtle or rush. And the fact is that even if they have an anderstanding of the three strats, they don't know how to start off and implement them.
I think you should warn them that they are vulnerably to a rush and that decent players will most likely rush and cripple them early. Another thing, I don't think that it is a good idea to rely on a set order of units like you have. The reason being is that you should build units according to what your opponent is making. If you have the same units throughout the entire match, your enemy will counter you with no problems.
I think your intensions are good but if you really want to give a hand to the new-comers, you should teach them things to better their game play and to play as competitive players do. Usually, you will have to play with them and show them as you go. But start pointing out how good players play so new-comers can play that way and understand the different strats.
My intensions are not to flame you, but to show you a bigger picture so you can help the community with more variety. =0)
