Re: Anyone get the Halo Encyclopedia?

Anyone care to explain how people get 1.7 Teraton J out of E=Mc²?

So if a 600 Ton Uranium slug is travelling at 40% the speed of light or .4c, how do you get that much energy?

Or even how do you get that from the Orbital Defense Platform's 3000-ton slug?

So I got this far, .4x299,792,458=119916983.2

119916983.2²=1.438x10^16(Estimate just for this I use exact numbers in the equation)

    1.438x10^16x600≈8.628x10^18 t

And if 1 Metric ton=1000 Kg, and 1 Teraton=10^12t then this just doesn't add up.

That would be 8.628^6 Tt of energy.

Darn you, stop using outdated measurements! Go metric.

well the guy in the forum that was posted on here says theres alot of things written wrong like dates and such and i a suspected it was bungie that wrote it so the canon is gonna be all over the place, the only source ytour can relie on is from bungie as they have the HALO BIBLE and aint gonna let that get published, although to be fair the whole halo universe was made by the community as bungie has made the games with a story just the community made it bigger and made storys that go into the games and books have also expanded from the games so what we think is canon could be wrong because bungie themselves would'nt no

Spend an hour in the bookstore and read the encyclopedia. Don't spend 40 bucks on it.

Ohhh. There's an entire section on Spartans, and gives good dates when each upgrade happens for the Mjolner armor system. They even give good detail bout the alternative armor types of Hyabusa and Eva etc....

Interestingly enough, they talked about a Spartan I program. They had some kind of early action against the Rebels, but they were disbanded early on BEFORE the Spartan IIs were even born.
